We have offices in China and Thailand from where we import directly our Asian commodities for the U.K. market, whether for manufacturing purposes or for specialist use in a single restaurant. We also import our South American ingredients on a regular basis from our sources in Peru, Mexico and Argentina to give your menus that authentic but unusual twist.

Built up over the years since its establishment in 1991, Penta Foods is still powered by its original principles of sourcing the right product for the customer and providing outstanding service.  However our phenomenal success over this period means that we are now able to work with our own brands, offering you outstanding quality and value for money.

Development Kitchen

Robert Allen, Development Chef for Penta Foods, heads up the New Product Development kitchen based in Farnborough. Robert has a proven track record within the industry, both in hotels and restaurants and Business and Industry Contract Catering (Eurest); including restaurant names like The Dorchester, The Washington Hotel Mayfair, and a spell at the Royal Champagne 1 star Michelin for Moet and Chandon. More recently Robert had been developing new concepts for the John Lewis Partnership. Robert has a vast knowledge of food style and skills which he brings to Penta Foods in order to develop bespoke menus and recipes for your menu.

Through this knowledge base the NPD team will source new ingredients from around the world, develop bespoke seasonings and ingredients or present finished dishes in its newly opened Farnborough development kitchen. Whether you are seeking a humble organic stock or a completed dish, the Penta team will deliver innovation to your operation, which is both unique and cost-effective.
